Installation Instructions
(If no old drivers are installed, you can skip this step)
- On the main setup screen, click ``Uninstall Printers and Drivers''
- The ``Printer Driver Uninstall'' screen will appear. Click
``Uninstall Printer Drivers''
- Follow the instructions. You will need to reboot the PC. You may
need to run the Uninstaller again, and reboot a second time in order
to completely remove all files.
- From the main setup screen, choose ``Install a Printer and Driver''
- Choose the port type you wish to add.
- Follow the instructions to create a port. Note the port name you
create (a dialog box should inform you as to which one you have
created).
- Add Printer Wizard will now start automatically
- Choose the port you just created from the list.
- Click Next
- Click Have Disk
- Click Browse
- Navigate to the directory to which you have unzipped the files,
or the directory on the CD that contains the files.
- Click Open
- Click OK
- Choose the printer you are installing from the list
- Click Next
- Set the printer name to whatever you like, or leave it be.
- Set the default printer to whatever you like.
- Click Next
- Select Do not share this printer
- Click Next
- Select No
- Click Next
- Click Finish
- When the nasty ``this isn't signed'' dialog pops up, click Yes.
